Unless you happen to be Chuck Norris, your SQL Server instances only have one tempDB. That makes tempDB a single point of contention for an instance. What’s worse is that there are a lot of things going on in tempDB that you may not be aware of. Let’s look at some things that can use tempDB while we’re not looking. When: Monday, Dec. 8th
